Peter Cusson

Waltham, MA According to Vantage Builders, Inc., a commercial contractor specializing in pre-construction, construction management and design-build services, Peter Cusson has joined the firm as CFO. Cusson will oversee the firm’s financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, planning, analysis and risk management.

Vantage Builders has seen a significant amount of growth over the past two years, in number of team members, revenue and in the market sectors we serve, and we expanded our operations into Florida earlier this year,” said Ed Silva, principal, Vantage Builders. “Peter’s direct experience in the construction industry will help the firm tremendously as we continue on this path of expansion.”

Cusson has more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience in the construction industry. He joins Vantage Builders after a 14-year tenure at Suffolk Construction, where he most recently served as Northeast CFO and prior to that as New York Regional CFO and Regional Controller.

Previously, he held accounting roles at George B.H. Macomber Company. Mr. Cusson earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s College.

“I am looking forward to working with the Vantage Builders team and its clients,” said Cusson. “The construction industry will play a critical role in getting the economy back on track after the pandemic. This is a very exciting time for the industry and for Vantage in particular, as the firm heads into its 21st year in operation.”
