Cushman & Wakefield named leasing agent for CenTech Park North

According to Cushman & Wakefield the Shrewsbury Development Corp., acting on behalf of the Town of Shrewsbury, has awarded the team of Cushman & Wakefield's executive director JR McDonald and associate Stephen Woelfel with the sales and/or leasing assignment of CenTech Park North, a 60 acre land parcel. The former Allen property site is zoned as office/research and flexible overlay. The development parcel has the capacity for up to 600,000 s/f of space. "This is a great opportunity for the right user or developer," said McDonald. "With a healthy stable of corporate neighbors and a strong commitment from Shrewsbury to help businesses succeed at CenTech Park North, we believe that this site will serve as the basis for future high-tech growth for the region." "At the CenTech Park North site our goal remains to bring about development that preserves the parcel in the non-residential tax base," said Hannah Kane, Vice Chair and Board Member of the Shrewsbury Development Corporation. "Identifying the right user or developer will provide economic benefit to the town, create local, quality jobs for our citizens, and do so without degrading the quality of life in the surrounding neighborhoods."
