Cushman & Wakefield arranges 4,842 s/f lease for TrueNorth Chartering LLC

Wilton, CT Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a 4,842 s/f lease for TrueNorth Chartering LLC, a ship brokerage company, on the first floor at 372 Danbury Rd. The real estate services firm represented both the landlord and the tenant in the transaction.

A Cushman & Wakefield brokerage team consisting of director Brian Scruton, director Kathleen Fazio and associate John Altieri represented the landlord, Wilton GSE, LLC, in the transaction, and senior director Adam Klimek represented the tenant.

“372 Danbury Rd. presented an excellent opportunity for the tenant as the landlord offered a turnkey, customized work environment that was designed to meet the needs of TrueNorth,” said Brian Scruton of Cushman & Wakefield.

“The tenant’s relocation to 372 Danbury Rd. will have a long-term, positive impact on their business,” said Adam Klimek. “The tenant’s prior space was compartmentalized and not conducive to a highly-efficient work environment, and the work environment supported by the landlord will address the firm’s specific operations and rapid growth.”

TrueNorth Chartering LLC will be using the new space for its headquarters.

372 Danbury Rd. is a 92,500 s/f, two-story office building. Tenants include: Stamford Health Medical Group, Power Home Remodeling Group and The Westport Day School.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
