Cushman & Wakefield and John D. Hastings co-broker 1,426 s/f sublease

Hammerstone, Inc. has subleased 1,426 s/f of office space on the first floor of 500 Post Rd. East from Terex Corporation for a period of 5 years, 9 months, through December 31, 2016. The commercial real estate firms of Cushman & Wakefield and John D. Hastings were involved in this transaction. Hammerstone Group is a Westport-based operator of online discussion forums for institutional investors. Terex Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer, the sublessor of the space Hammerstone occupies, has now moved to larger quarters at Nyala Farms Office Park. The term of the sublease coincides with the conclusion of the Terex lease. Brian Scruton of Cushman & Wakefield represented Hammerstone while Mark Holod and Ted Hampe of John D. Hastings were exclusive listing agents for Terex. The entire third floor of 15,592 s/f remains available.
