Cummings Properties and Lincoln Property Company sign Ninety Nine to 11,000 s/f lease

The familiar horseshoe logo of the Ninety Nine Restaurants chain now adorns 14 Gill St. After 30 years at nearby Olympia Ave., the 60-year-old company relocated its regional headquarters. Ninety Nine, which is currently enjoying a period of growth, now occupies the entire 11,000 s/f Gill St. building, which is managed by Cummings Properties. To meet the restaurant operator's needs, Cummings Properties completed a custom turnkey buildout, transforming a former cleantech space into office space for the new headquarters. John Grady, president of Ninety Nine Restaurants, said, "We are excited to be moving into a new office space that will better serve our needs as we grow the company in the future, and we are happy to know we will be staying in Woburn after being part of the community for more than 30 years." Leasing director Derek Cook of Cummings Properties worked with Rob Cronin of Lincoln Property Company on the transaction. Cook said, "We were delighted to be able to deliver a space that made it attractive for this longtime Woburn company to remain in the community." The new headquarters employs 40 staff members who serve the chain's 105 restaurants throughout New England and upstate New York.
