Cummings Properties adds two new elements to Cummings Center

Cummings Properties has added two new elements to its landmark Cummings Center office and technology park. The commercial real estate firm recently constructed a 14-foot tall, three-tier, stone waterfall on the north side of the campus, as well as a pondside "healing garden" featuring shaded arbors and bench seating. Cummings Properties design manager Jim Trudeau said, "The fountain serves as a striking visual landmark that helps organize traffic flow, while the healing garden provides a quiet, comfortable spot overlooking Upper Shoe Pond, for clients and visitors to sit and enjoy a break from their workday." In keeping with Cummings Properties' focus on sustainability, the stone walls accompanying the nearly 50-foot wide fountain and those accenting the healing garden's perennial landscape were constructed using all Beverly granite stones that were recycled from outcrops at the firm's 50 Dunham Rd. campus. In addition to the eye-catching water feature and artfully designed garden, Cummings Properties recently completed a series of capital improvements at Cummings Center. Newly paved areas, a fourth parking deck, exterior benches, and additional bike racks were all added this summer. "We take pride in continuously upgrading our campus," said Cummings Center vice president Steve Drohosky. "These improvements allow us to provide visitors and clients with attractive, convenient amenities and an even more welcoming environment." Award-winning Cummings Center is one of the highest profile sites in Cummings Properties' 10 million s/f portfolio, offering first-class space in new and newly renovated buildings for executive offices, medical practices, and research laboratories.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
