According to company officials, Piezo, a high-tech manufacturer and distributor of "off-the-shelf" piezo parts and accessories, will be moving into 6,000 s/f at 65 Tower Office Park. Piezo offers piezo elements and the electronics to drive them, as well as design engineering services and OEM component development. While affordable lease rates were an important consideration in the relocation, Robert Carter, president and principal scientist at Piezo, said, "The building's location at the intersection of I-93 and I-95/128 makes it ideal for commuting and recruiting." "We are pleased to welcome Piezo to our growing list of high-technology clients," said Derek Cook, Cummings Properties' leasing director. "Piezo joins many other innovative companies who appreciate the benefits unique to this area such as public transportation to and from Boston, numerous amenities and business services, and free ample parking." Cook represented Cummings Properties in the lease transaction. Ernie Wronka of Wronka Limited represented Piezo. Cummings Properties is a commercial real estate development company that has developed more than 9 million s/f of first-class commercial space in Boston.
