Cook of Cummings Properties works with Deltek, Inc. on 35,000 s/f lease

Deltek, Inc. recently relocated from its Cambridge office to 35,000 s/f at TradeCenter 128, becoming one of Cummings Properties' newest clients. "Deltek is a dynamic company," said Patrick Smith, Deltek's vice president of corporate marketing and communications. "The lease at TradeCenter 128 gives us the flexibility to increase our space as we continue to grow our organization." Motivating factors in Deltek's move to its new suburban site were the premium office space and central locale, as well as the high visibility of the business campus, which directly fronts Rte. 128. Smith said, "From a commuting perspective, it's convenient for employees." He added, "And, on the technology side, we're also part of a growing and vibrant technology community," referring to Deltek's new location in a well-known technology corridor often identified as America's Technology Highway. According to Derek Cook, the Cummings Properties leasing director who worked with Deltek on the lease, "Rte. 128 continues to grow as an attractive alternative to Cambridge for technical companies. From life science start-ups to established software firms, we have dozens of high-technology clients in our many buildings on this prized stretch of highway." The TradeCenter 128 campus cosists of 600,000 s/f of office space. The seven-story building is a LEED pre-certified Gold Level structure with a 1,250 panel, 250-kilowatt solar installation atop the parking garage. A flagship property of Cummings Properties, it offers the amenities of a central business district, including on-site restaurants, banks, day care, and MBTA service. Deltek is the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for professional services firms, government contractors, and government agencies. Over 14,000 organizations in 80+ countries around the world use Deltek to research and identify opportunities, win new business, optimize resources, streamline operations, and deliver profitable projects.
