Construction Outlook with Jim Haughey, Feb. 10

With the commercial construction industry hit harder than most by the recession, the looming question for all contractors is, when will it end, when will real turnaround begin? While we don't have a crystal ball, we do have the next best thing - a construction forecast presentation featuring Jim Haughey, Chief Economist for Reed Construction Data (RCD). His talk will be the highlight of our ASM Dinner meeting on Weds. Feb. 10, 5:30 p.m. at the Westin Hotel Waltham. Haughey has over 30 years experience as a business economist, including 20 tracking the ups and downs of the construction market. In his talk he will give an overview of the US economic conditions and trends, but will focus on Massachusetts and New England and share his predictions on the timing and strength of recovery, particularly in the nonresidential building market. Contact ASM or visit the website for more details.
