Construction Earth Technology and Roman Properties sign joint venture for condo project

Harlem, NY Construction Earth Technology (CET) has executed a joint venture agreement with Roman Properties Inc., of New York.

CET will be responsible for all civil works in the joint venture for the construction of 80 new residential condominiums at 200 Frederick Douglas Blvd.

The 15-story project, which has been fully funded, has a total value of $90 million. The contract in association of the joint venture has a value of $16 million.

The CET project team includes job supervisor Jason Justin and project manager Albert Corbett.

The civil package is fairly complex as the site has been designated a brownfield. It is anticipated that up to 9,000 cubic yards of contaminated materials will need to be removed from the site prior to construction.

Roman Properties will be responsible for the concrete superstructure of the building.
