Consigli Construction and Reger Dasco top off Hobson’s Landing mixed-use project

Portland, ME  Consigli Construction Co., Inc. in partnership with developer Reger Dasco Properties celebrated a topping off ceremony to commemorate the completion of the superstructure for phase 1 of Hobson’s Landing, a new 196,000 s/f mixed-use development of residential and retail space in the Old Port historic neighborhood of the city.

Hobson’s Landing is a 21-month-long construction project that began in November. Located at the former site of the Rufus Deering Lumber Yard, Consigli, Reger Dasco Properties, civil engineers Sebago Technics and Archetype Architects have worked with the city to coordinate the installation of public utilities, traffic lane configuration, and sidewalk construction.

“We are proud of our role in the redevelopment of Portland’s historic neighborhoods and eager to join Reger Dasco Properties to celebrate this important milestone of the Hobson’s Landing project, the newest enriching development in the Old Port,” said Tom Weeks, project executive at Consigli. “We want to thank the city of Portland for continuing to work with us and look forward to being involved in more projects that will enhance the future of this city.”

Hobson’s Landing is Reger Dasco’s latest development that reflects the resurgence of the city’s urban renewal. The development will link the West End, Old Port, and Waterfront areas of the city.

Future residents will enjoy views of the Fore River and Casco Bay with luxury-style amenities such as concierge services, private decks, high-efficiency heating, and cooling systems as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, a community garden, and private parking garage.

“We want to extend our gratitude to Consigli Construction for their expertise and diligence in helping to navigate the complexities of a project of this scale and scope. The project is off to a great start. We look forward to providing the future residents of Hobson’s Landing the richness of all that Portland has to offer,” said Joseph Dasco of Reger Dasco Properties.

Town & Shore Realty are the real estate brokers managing the sales. This is the 4th project that Town and Shore have teamed up with Reger Dasco on. According to listing brokers, Sandy Johnson and Gail Landry “presales to date are ahead of projections with approximately 40% of the units under contract.”
