Consigli honored by city of Worcester for the first ever "Clean & Green" award
Consigli Construction Co., Inc. was recently honored by the city of Worcester in its first-ever "Clean & Green" Awards, presented by Worcester mayor Konstantina Lukes.
Consigli, which was a recipient in the "Industrial" category, was the only construction firm recognized. The evaluation process cited numerous sustainable initiatives undertaken by the company, including: green building practices; LEED trained and accredited employees; construction waste separation and recycling; and the addition of hybrid and biodiesel vehicles to its company fleet. Additionally, Clark University's Lasry Center for Bioscience - a Consigli project - was awarded in the "Institutional" category.
