Natick, MA Consigli Construction Co., Inc. has been awarded pre-construction services for MathWorks’ new Lakeside Campus redevelopment project, a large-scale 510,000 s/f demolition and new multi-building development at the company’s second campus in the town. Consigli is currently completing MathWorks’ new 190,000 s/f, 500+ space parking garage, which will accommodate and serve the three new buildings on the 31-acre site.

The Consigli team will work with MathWorks and the design team at Gensler, RDK Engineers and VHB to determine the most desirable building scheme to suit the organization’s current and future needs.  Construction is expected to begin in early 2016.

“We are excited and honored that MathWorks has selected our firm to partner with them on this exceptional project,” said Anthony Consigli, president and CEO.

“We especially appreciate this partnership as we share MathWorks’ forward-thinking and collaborative corporate structure and culture, which is built on trust, innovation and a commitment to employees.”

MathWorks is the leading developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists. Its new Lakeside Campus will feature collaborative office and meeting spaces, and a separate data center.  It will also include a fitness center, outdoor recreation space and a full cafeteria to accommodate the needs of its rapidly growing employee base.

The new buildings will include high-end finishes as well as the latest technology.  Additionally, the campus will include sustainable elements such as photovoltaic solar panels.
