Consigli Construction awarded $4.9 million Whitinsville Christian School project

Whitinsville Christian School and Consigli Construction Co., Inc. have begun work on a project that will transform the 83-year old school campus and community. The school selected Consigli to be the general contractor / construction manager the new $4.9 million library media center that is slated to open in two phases this fall. Consigli's team includes Bill O'Rourke - project executive; Marco Bader - project manager; Bob Barry - superintendent; and John Flynn - project engineer. The project team includes Dixon Salo Architects, Inc. - architect; Neal Mitchell Associates, Inc. - structural engineer; Andrews Survey & Engineering - civil engineer; Seaman Engineering, Inc. - mechanical engineer; Shifman Design Associates, Inc. - fire protection & plumbing engineer; Shepherd Engineering, Inc. - electrical engineer; and George Murray - owner's rep. The first floor will accommodate elementary students and will open as school returns to session this month, while the second floor addition will add more than 8,000 s/f of library, classroom, office and technology space for Whitinsville's high school and middle school students. This second phase is scheduled for completion around Thanksgiving.
