Conifer Hill Commons holds ribbon cutting

On October 10th state and local officials joined the local community for a ribbon cutting for Conifer Hill Commons. Located at 121 Conifer Hill Dr., the development is in a wooded area adjacent to a Danvers Housing Authority Development and consists of 90 affordable mixed use units available to local residents. Phase I + II (48 units) will be complete and open in November. The entire project will be completed by late January 2014. The development was made possible by the support of state and local officials, the Mass Department of Housing and Community Development who committed substantial funds to the development, as well as the town of Danvers and Boston Capital. Conifer Hill Commons consists of 6 townhouse style 3-story buildings. The unit mix includes a wide selection of sizes; 21 one bedrooms, 57 two bedrooms, and 12 three bedroom units. Included are 12 Department of Mental Health supported units. With two children's playgrounds planned for the development, the property will encourage activity on the property. Project funded by many state and local agencies.
