Columbia Construction Co. is nearing the mid-point of construction on a $13 million renovation to the Millennium Bostonian Hotel, scheduled to be complete in August.  The 201-room hotel will undergo a complete renovation of all guest rooms and public areas to bring the hotel up-to-date and to create a look and feel that Millennium guests have grown to expect from this upscale hotel. Guest rooms will feature faux leather finishes, linen-like wallcoverings, and 42-inch LCD televisions. The lobby will have a seating area around a featured gas-burning fireplace.  A new restaurant will feature outdoor seating, and the hotel's exterior will be enhanced with the addition of a classic new stainless-steel fountain and an entranceway of French-paneled beveled glass.
