Colliers International Connecticut arranges 8,736 s/f for Blair & Potts

Colliers International Connecticut has arranged an 8,736 s/f lease at 4 Stamford Plaza on behalf of the law firm Blair & Potts. RFR Realty is the landlord. Blair & Potts provides legal services to individuals in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and taxation of individuals, trusts and estates. The law firm, which is relocating from RFR Realty's 2 Stamford Plaza, occupied the new space on November 1. "Blair & Potts was in need of a larger footprint with a higher-end build out to suit their growing needs," said Jeff Williams, a senior managing director with Colliers International Connecticut, who along with Ernie Delucia, represented the tenant in the transaction. "They had the option of extending the lease at their current address, but a larger and more accommodating space became available at 4 Stamford Plaza that was near move-in condition, requiring only minor modifications. This really was a win-win situation for everyone involved." Located in the heart of Stamford's business district at 107 Elm St., 4 Stamford Plaza is a 15-story 261,000 s/f office tower and part of a four-building complex. Situated alongside I-95, 4 Stamford Plaza offers a visible lobby finished in Verdi marble and glass, while the building shares a 2.5-acre park-like plaza featuring gardens, a fountain, statuary and seating. Other tenants in the building include ICON, Nobel Americas, Digitas and Pullman & Comley. Portfolio director, Margaret Carlson, represented landlord RFR Realty in the transaction.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
