Colantonio to renovate Fairbank Community Center
Sudbury, MA General contractor Colantonio Inc. was awarded the Fairbank Community Center project by the town of Sudbury.
The Community Center, located at 40 Fairbank Rd., currently houses the town’s Atkinson Pool, Senior Center, and the Public Schools Administrative Offices. Colantonio will perform renovations to the 40,400 s/f pool building while it is occupied, and the Senior Center and office spaces will be demolished to make room for the addition. The new facility will feature multi-purpose meeting rooms, a gymnasium, pool viewing area, locker rooms, fitness room, arts and crafts and games rooms, offices, and the school system’s MDF communication hub room. The center will also receive new parking lots, a basketball court, and a new sprinkler system.
The project was designed by Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc.
