Cobb Hill Construction, Inc. presented their 2009 scholarship recipients: Tristen Donovan and David Hawk of Concord, and Rachel Foster of Bow, N.H.
Cobb Hill annually offers up to $2,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Bow or Concord who have demonstrated an interest in drafting, construction, architecture, or engineering and who plan to further their education in one of those fields.
Selection was based on a combination of demonstrated interest, positive attitude, teacher recommendations, and financial need.
Donovan will be studying civil engineering at the University of New Hampshire.
Hawk will be studying mechanical engineering also at the University of New Hampshire.
Foster will be studying architecture at the University of Illinois.
"We are honored to have the opportunity to provide such deserving graduates with these scholarships," said Jerry Kingwill, principal of Cobb Hill Construction. "We all wish Tristen, David, and Rachel the best of luck as they work to further their educations and careers in the construction, engineering, and architecture industries."
