Clark promoted to senior estimator at JM Coull

Bryan Clark

Maynard, MA JM Coull promoted Bryan Clark from estimator to senior estimator. Clark has been with the firm for 10 years. He has been integral to some of JMC’s most high-profile projects.

As a senior estimator, Clark will play a larger role in the support of JM Coull’s preconstruction efforts. He will manage bidding and scheduling details, including subcontractor prequalification, prepare bid packages, and quantity takeoffs for estimating and scheduling purposes. Clark is responsible for ensuring a strong subcontractor response, and with his previous experience in the field, he has been indispensable to the team.

“I am always delighted when we are able to promote an employee as part of their progression and growth here at JM Coull,” comments President Andrew Coull. “Bryan’s promotion to Sr. Estimator happens to coincide with his recent 10-year anniversary at our company, however, this promotion is not just about time. His promotion is about his growth; in the technical knowledge he has gained, and the quality of his work product. We can clearly see this in the details.
Bryan is always prepared for his site visits, always early, takes the time to understand each assigned project, figures out where the big “issues” are and works to solve them. He gets along well with all his co-workers and interfaces with the assigned JMC Operations personnel to present a complete package to our existing and potential clients. This promotion to Sr. Estimator is well deserved, and I know I speak for the entire company when I say we are very happy for Bryan!”

JM Coull is an award-winning construction management and design-build firm providing professional services to end user Owners and Real Estate Developers throughout New England. JMC’s experience covers a wide range of market sectors including Life Sciences/Research and Development, Advanced Technology, Cleanrooms, Education, Healthcare, Corporate/Industrial and Institutional.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
