Warwick, Rhode Island’s second largest community offers the convenience of city living with a small-town feel and a number of opportunities to help your business grow and succeed. Located in the heart of Southern New England, the City of Warwick offers an unlimited array of business development opportunities and a host of resources geared towards helping companies thrive. As the home to T.F. Green Airport and Rhode Island’s MBTA commuter rail station, the InterLink intermodal and with easy access to Interstates 95 and 295, Warwick is a central and convenient location for residents, business travelers and visitors alike. With 20 MBTA stops daily between Warwick and Boston, and a host of international flight destinations, Warwick continues to be a thriving mecca for both leisure and business travelers alike. With added domestic destinations provided by Frontier Airlines, Orlando, Denver, Fort Myers, Tampa, Miami, New Orleans, Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham are now easily reachable from T.F Green. On the international front, travelers can now reach the French Caribbean via Norwegian Airways, as Martinique and the Guadeloupe Islands are now available destinations with direct service from Green. With the expansion of Runway 5 complete, T.F. Green continues to reduce passenger leakage to other regional airports by accommodating longer-haul flights to a variety of domestic and international destinations.

The innovation and award-winning City Centre Warwick concept that has brought to life the redevelopment of more than 100 acres surrounding T.F. Green Airport, the InterLink inter-modal commuter rail stations and Interstates 95 and 295 continues to take shape. With plans well underway to transform the multi-modal transit area, the redevelopment boast a vibrant commerce center nestled around an energized neighborhood. This transit-oriented, mixed-use business and neighborhood epicenter offers unparalleled development, retail and housing opportunities to those who live, work and travel in the area. New construction and renovation efforts at area hotels are currently underway. Additionally, plans are in the works for several more construction projects within City Centre, as well as a multitude of proposed business ventures, satisfying and surpassing both the short-term and long-term economic growth goals for the City. A complete market segmentation analysis and multi-pronged marketing survey was conducted both on a City level, with input and analyzation from our state partners, to identify and tap into unexplored areas of growth across a broad spectrum of industries. The results of which are aimed to target and attract key industries areas, such as increased foreign trade, high-value manufacturing, distribution and health care services, educational services, financial, and biotechnology. These cumulative efforts strive to reinforce Warwick’s attractiveness as a modern and well-developed business hub and tourism destination, with a multimodal transportation network, that makes the City a centralized location for business and pleasure.
