New Bedford, MA NAI Hunneman brokered the $9.484 million sale of The Willows, an 89-unit apartment community located at 50-52 New Plainville Rd.

Executive vice president Carl Christie and assistant vice president Dan McGee represented the seller Tarkin Hill Nominee Trust and procured the buyer Willows Property, LLC.  

“This was a complicated transaction involving both apartment and condominium units within the complex.” said Christie. “There were some remodeled units and some that were in original condition. The new owner plans to continue upgrades at the property.”    

Located in the northern section of town along Rte. 140, The Willows is an 89-unit apartment complex, built in 1988, consisting of two and three-bedroom garden style apartments. The units offer eat-in kitchens, dishwashers, built-in microwaves, wall-unit air conditioners, and ample closet space. The Willows is located in a country setting away from the city, but in close proximity to shopping, restaurants and public transportation.
