Chozick, Pappas of Chozick Realty sell Campus View Apartments for $4.3 million
Rick Chozick and Steve Pappas of the Hartford office of Chozick Realty, Inc. have arranged the sale of Campus View Apartments, located at 1300-1412 East St. The sale price was $4.3 million. Campus View Apartments is a 63-unit apartment complex located at the entrance to Central Connecticut State University and is a student occupied residential property. The property is well suited from a location standpoint and unit configuration to cater to the student population at the university. Virtually all apartments are two bedrooms with a layout that makes the apartments very comfortable for three students, maximizing the number of beds per apartment.
The property was constructed in 1970 and was substantially updated and remodeled approximately 10 years ago. At that time the resident population was shifted to student oriented residences with roommate privacy dividers added to bedrooms, washer/dryers installed in each apartment and high speed Internet and cable television included in the rental structure.
Chozick Realty marketed the property on behalf of 1300 East Street Holdings LLC and procured the purchaser, Campusview Apts LLC, a regional owner of multifamily property.
