Rick Chozick of the Hartford office of Chozick Realty, Inc. has arranged the sale of Oakridge Apartments, located on Roanoak Ave. This 36-unit apartment complex was constructed in 1965 and consists of 24 one-bedroom and 12 two-bedroom units. The sales price was $1.65 million.
Being located at the junction of Rte. 32 and Rte. 6, the property offers a convenient location within the community according to Chozick. With ample employment and retail along Rte. 32 within walking distance as well as access to Rte. 6 for commuters, Oakridge has a long history of high occupancy. Recent improvements to the property prior to sale included new gas furnaces and hot water systems, remodeling of all common areas as well as renovation of many of the apartment units.
Chozick Realty marketed the property on behalf of the seller, 157-35 OAP Holdings LLC as well as procuring the purchaser.
