Rick Chozick and Steve Pappas of the Hartford office of Chozick Realty, Inc has arranged the sale of 49 apartments and six retail stores, located at 380 West Main St. The property features 17 studio apartments, 28 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom units, as well as 6 retail spaces consisting of 13,000 s/f. Constructed in 1910 as the Waterbury Hotel, this property was renovated and converted to apartment use in the 1980s and has been substantially upgraded within the past several years. Upgrades include new roof, windows, elevator, sprinkler system and apartment remodeling with new kitchens and bathrooms. Under the management of CR Realty Management, a division of Chozick Realty, the property was stabilized to over 95% occupancy at the time of closing from its occupancy of 50% at the time of take over.
