Charles Construction renovates 22,000 s/f AmeriHealth Caritas at Sundial Center

Manchester, NH Charles Construction Company Inc. has completed a new office renovation for AmeriHealth Caritas at The Sundial Center of Commerce and Education, 125 Sundial Ave. The 22,000 s/f office will serve as AmeriHealth’s New Hampshire corporate headquarters. AmeriHealth Caritas has been contracted by the state of New Hampshire to manage their Medicaid program.

Charles Construction was selected by the Sundial Center’s management company, CP Management represented by Kate Leonard and the owner’s representative SMS Management Corp. led by Robert Simonds.

Charles Construction followed the designs by Charles Matsinger Associates and Yeaton Associates, Inc.

“The project consisted of its own unique set of challenges” said Alex Matses, project manager for Charles Construction, “Not only did we have to phase the project in a way where we would not disrupt the fully occupied 5-story, 360,000 s/f office building; we had to work efficiently to meet the accelerated ten-week deadline.”

The project was structured in three, around the clock phases. Commencing with the demolition of the previous tenant’s dense pack classroom, laboratory and office layout, moving onto the east then west ends of the suite.

The 22,000 s/f facility includes 76 individual workstations, 20 private offices, 10 conference rooms, and miscellaneous amenities throughout such as coffee stations, break areas, a mothers’ room, and a full-service kitchen. The suite brings another Class A tenant space to the office park with its hundreds of linear feet of glass partitions, use of high-end materials, and accents throughout.
