Chapman Const./Design completes 29,000 s/f office space build-out for Moody, Famiglietti & Andronico

Chapman Construction/Design has recently completed the office build-out for MFA - Moody, Famiglietti & Andronico, a CPA consulting firm. The 29,000 sf MFA project was completed on a fast-track 12-week schedule and included a full gut and complete renovation of the space including new offices, meeting rooms, library, and kitchen. MFA's new office space features serpentine walls and is bright and airy due to the many glass walls and exterior windows. It includes a wide variety of high-end finishes such as French limestone, granite, and Angela Adams carpet tile. Common meeting spaces are equipped with technologically advanced systems including RoomWizard room scheduling system, SMART Boards interactive white boards, and recessed projectors. The fast-track MFA job is the type of project Chapman excels at because of its proprietary project management system and skilled project teams. Because of this approach, Chapman is able to begin construction on projects such as this one for MFA even before the final architectural plans are complete. CB Richard Ellis Senior property manager Margaret Collins, who oversaw the project on behalf of MFA, said the project was a huge success, "This was a challenging project because of the tight schedule," she said. "MFA is extremely pleased, and that is primarily contributable to the team. Everyone pulled together and worked as one to get the job done." Chapman worked with The McKenna Group Limited architects and IOI, Inc. interior designers on the MFA project. Founded in 1984, Chapman Construction/Design is a full-service construction management firm.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
