Century Investment welcomes four new tenants to two of its properties in West Springfield, Mass.

This spring Century Investment welcomes 4 new tenants to two of their properties. Century Park, encompassing 18-50 Union and 171-181 Park Ave. has filled 3 of their vacancies bringing occupancy rate up to 95%. 1275 Elm, LLC located at 1275 Elm St. parallel to Rte. 5, Riverdale Rd., has 1 new tenant. At 171 Park Ave., attorneys Sullivan-Boss and Beauvais has signed a three year deal taking 1,200 s/f space. They have relocated their offices from 117 Park Ave. Gordon Food Service, formally Perkins Paper, LLC will be moving in later this spring utilizing the 935 s/f office as the Western New England sales office. Bill Fitzgerald of Fitzgerald and Company represented Gordon Food Service and Century Investment was self-represented. At 181 Park Ave., Colony Care at home, a sub-division of the Mason Wright Foundation a senior community, has taken 446 s/f. This space will launch the foundation's new venture into home health care. Jonathan Little of RJ Greeley represented Colony Care at Home and Century Investment was self represented. This leaves one space, 1.579 s/f, available at the Century Park campus. At 1275 Elm St., Century Investment built to suit a 2,500 s/f office for CoWorx Staffing Services, LLC. This location will be their Springfield-metro office facilitating staffing needs and providing quality solutions in all aspects of employee management. In addition, Doctors Express Urgent Care Center will open their second Western Mass. location this June at Century Park on the corner of Union St. and Park Ave. The site, a former IHOP building, has been re-vamped into a 2,700 s/f free standing medical center. The goal of Doctors Express centers is to provide an alternative to over-crowded emergency rooms for non-emergency treatment, and to offer patients a place to be seen when their doctor's office is closed. Richard Crews and James Brennan, both of Longmeadow, are the Master Franchisees for Mass., Maine, N.H. and Vermont and have plans to open multiple locations in 2012 and 2013. Doctors Express joins Baystate OBGYN, Wells Fargo and multiple other professional tenants at Century Park, which encompasses, 171-181 Park Ave., 18 and 50 Union St. Brian Fitzgerald of Fitzgerald and Co. represented Doctors Express and Century Investment was self-represented. "We are very excited to have Doctors Express at Century Park. The updated look to the building will be a 180 degree change from the 1960's IHOP building and a better fit for that area in the center of West Springfield. We look forward to the June opening of Doctors Express." CoWorx has more than 50,000 field employees in its workforce with annual revenue topping $200 million. The CoWorx corporate headquarters is located in Watchung, N.J. It is a 5 year deal and both parties were self represented. Gordon Food Service is one of North America's largest family-owned and managed broad line foodservice distributors. The company distributes to foodservice operators throughout the Midwest and along the entire East Coast of the United States and coast to coast in Canada.
