CCIM CT Chapter names new 2021 officers

Guilford, CT The Connecticut Chapter of CCIM Institute names named its new leadership team for 2021.

M. Augustus (Gus) Ryer, CCIM, of Ryer Associates Commercial Real Estate in Danbury will serve as the 2021 president of the Connecticut Chapter.

Ryer is entering his tenth year in commercial real estate, and he has been involved with the chapter for most of his career. He has served both in the chapter executive team and as its legislative chair.

“2020 was a difficult, isolating year for many, and my goal for 2021 is to provide Chapter members with value and programming that brings us together, even when we can’t always see each other in person,” Ryer said.

Other Connecticut officers for the coming year include:

• Vice President: Eric Amodio, CCIM, of Amodio & Co. Real Estate, Farmington;

• Treasurer: Stephanie Romano Shaw, of Regions Commercial, Glastonbury; and

• Secretary: Stephanie Coleman, CCIM, Vice President of JLL, Stamford.

The Connecticut Chapter is one of more than 50 CCIM Institute chapters created to improve benefits to CCIM members and increase their involvement in the organization’s networking and comprehensive education for commercial real estate professionals, as well as legislative, national, and global activities.  The Connecticut Chapter encompasses the entire state and includes 112 members.
