Stamford, CT CBRE senior associate Joseph Weaver took home the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ (NAIOP) Developing Leader Award for the Fairfield/Westchester County Region during the organization’s Annual Night of the Stars Gala.

Weaver provides occupier and investor representation, strategic planning, consulting, investment sales and portfolio management services throughout the northern suburbs of New York and Connecticut.

“We are extremely proud of Joe for earning such a prestigious award,” said David Block, an executive vice president at CBRE. “Joe began his career with CBRE as a Research Analyst and quickly made the transition to brokerage professional and has never looked back. Joe possesses a personal drive to succeed as a leasing specialist that has yielded notable assignments for trophy assets in the Fairfield market and beyond. We are proud to work with him on some of the industry’s most noteworthy projects and look forward to seeing him continue to grow as a professional.”

Over the past five years, Weaver has completed more than 100 leasing transactions in excess of half a million s/f in Fairfield County alone.

“His dedication, along with his tireless work ethic has made him one of CBRE’s top rising stars and a source of inspiration to his clients,” said CBRE executive vice president Steven Greenbush.

In addition to his work at CBRE, Weaver is committed to giving back to his community through fundraising and hands-on volunteer work. He shares his time and talents to help others in the area through Habitat for Humanity in Bridgeport and has also raised funds and awareness for the American Brain Tumor Association’s annual BT5K run in New York City.
