CBRE | The Boulos Co. opens commercial real estate help desk

Drew Sigfridson, CBRE|The Boulos Company Drew Sigfridson, CBRE|The Boulos Company

Portland, ME CBRE|The Boulos Company is demystifying the world of commercial real estate for start-up businesses, non-profit organizations, and for-profit companies with a new help desk. The help desk will be staffed by the company’s own real estate professionals—experts on the local market, commercial lease terms, acquisitions, dispositions, and market rates for leases and financing.

“We’ve found many people need assistance in business planning, lease renewals and long-term strategic planning,” said Drew Sigfridson, managing director of CBRE | The Boulos Co. “Many times the location, flexible lease terms, and cost of commercial real estate are critical factors in determining the future success for a company. We wanted to provide an open invitation and welcoming environment for those—particularly non-profits and start-ups—who have questions about commercial real estate, and don’t know where to turn.”

Sigfridson noted that with so much information online—much of it conflicting—people are not always able to find what they need in an efficient manner. “We want to focus our attention on the human connection, relationships and one-on-one conversations that address real-world details and specific questions on the local commercial real estate market, and tenant and property owner needs.”

The help desk will be located on the 5th floor of One Canal Plaza and will have office hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday–Friday.

Initial consultations will be free of charge. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling Jessica Estes, Vice President of Operations at (207) 772-1333 or by email at jestes@boulos.com.
