CBRE receives seven Building Owners and Managers Awards
CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has received seven Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) awards presented at the organization's Annual Office Building of the Year (TOBY) and Industry Awards Celebration held at the Seaport Boston Hotel.
BOMA is a division of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and provides a networking forum for industry professionals to discuss mutual issues, exchange ideas and share experience and knowledge.
Stephen Howard was presented with "The Property Manager of the Year Award" within the High Rise category. In addition to Howard's recognition, CBRE was honored with four TOBY awards for individual properties under their management. Winning "The Office Building of the Year" awards in the categories of: best corporate facility, best 500,000 -1 million s/f office building, best office building over 1,000,000 s/f and best suburban mid-rise office building.
50 Milk Street won for "The Office Building of the Year" . The, 275,000 s/f, class A, office building is owned by James Campbell Co. LLC. Shawn Carroll heads up the building's property management team and is supported by: Matt Brown, Gene Dorney, Peter Smith and David Fricker.
One Boston Place, owned by TIAA and SITQ, took home the TOBY award for the category of 500,000-1 million s/f office building.
The winner for the category of the best office building over 1 million s/f was One Beacon St.: owned by Beacon Capital Partners.
The last TOBY award was presented to Ferncroft Corporate Center, winning for the category of best suburban mid-rise.
The final awards of the nights went to Mark Milone and Johnny Taylor, who were granted BOMA Boston Education Scholarships.
