CB Richard Ellis reps. KBS Realty Advisors in two leases: 4,150 s/f

On behalf of KBS Realty Advisors, CB Richard Ellis/New England (CBRE) arranged two new leases and a U.S. EPA Energy Star have been awarded at 625 Mount Auburn St. The three-story office building, purchased by KBS Realty Advisors in 2007, recently inked two new long-term leases with Mount Auburn Hospital for 1,900 s/f on the first floor and HDS Architects for 2,250 s/f on the second floor. The building was also recently awarded an Energy Star for superior energy efficiency by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). "625 Mount Auburn St. offers a bundle of benefits—amenities, access and infrastructure—in the heart of the Cambridge submarket," said Robert Fitzgerald, senior vice president/partner with CBRE. "KBS Realty Advisors has truly committed to providing a first-class environment for its tenants." The CBRE team of Fitzgerald and Adam Brinch, associate, will lead the leasing efforts for the property. "We are pleased to welcome two new tenants to the 625 Mount Auburn St. community," said John Kolb, vice president with KBS Realty Advisors. "Our commitment to developing a best-in-class property has enabled us to land new quality tenants that understand the benefits of our Energy Star award for both their employees and their bottom line." 625 Mount Auburn is located on Rte. 16 across from the Mount Auburn Cemetery and less than one mile from the Rte. 2/Rte. 3 interchange. The building features a two-story atrium lobby, an on-site fitness center and locker facilities, and an in-house cafeteria. CB Richard Ellis, which handles the leasing and management of the building, has recently offered a new tenant incentive program where all companies that sign a lease at 625 Mount Auburn Street will receive two Red Sox tickets for every employee working in the building. The promotion will run through the end of the regular Red Sox season. 625 Mount Auburn is located near the Watertown Line with direct MBTA bus service into Harvard Square. In addition to Mount Auburn Hospital and HDS Architects, the building is home to Charles River Analytics, HStar Technologies Corporation and the offices of McLean Hospital.
