CB Richard Ellis/New England promotes within prop. mgmt. team

According to CB Richard Ellis/New England, a joint venture partner with CBRE, the promotions of three property management members have been released. Eileen Carroll has been promoted to the position of VP/portfolio manager and Emily Batchelder and Laura Mintz have been promoted to the positions of VP/general manager. "Eileen, Emily and Laura have been integral members of the CBRE team," said Mark Tassinari, executive VP/partner at CBRE/New England. "Each have demonstrated a commitment to superior client service and have played vital roles in the success of our property management division. They are more than deserving of this distinction." Carroll has assumed the overall responsibility of a 1.9 million s/f office portfolio located throughout suburban Boston. She will be an integral part of the senior leadership team for the CBRE asset services group; her previous responsibilities include serving as senior property manager at Lake Quannapowitt, a 388,000 s/f office park located in Wakefield, and Ferncroft Corporate Center, a 226,000 s/f office building in Middleton. Carroll joined CBRE in 1996 as a property accountant and was later promoted to accounting manager. She transitioned to the property management division in 1999 where she managed a 21-story, 400,000 s/f mid-rise office tower in Boston. Carroll will be based in Wakefield at Edgewater Office Park. She is a graduate of Bryant College. Emily Batchelder has assumed the management responsibility of One Boston Place, an 800,000 s/f office tower and one of CBRE's premier property management assignments. Batchelder will be overseeing the property's pursuit of the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance Gold designation as well as the completion of a multi-million retail facade and plaza renovation undertaken this year. Batchelder joined CBRE in 2007. She previously served as the general manager at 101 Arch St. where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Class A office building including leasing, tenant retention and capital projects. Batchelder has more than twenty years of experience in the real estate industry and was the recipient of the 2008 Esprit de Coeur award for outstanding dedication to the NEWIRE organization. She is a graduate of Colby College. Laura Mintz has assumed responsibility for the property management services on CBRE's ING account which consists of six office properties totaling 1.3 million s/f. The portfolio includes 101 Arch St.; 880 & 890 Winter St., Waltham; Stony Brook Office Park, Waltham; and 200 Newport Dr., Quincy. Mintz is based at 101 Arch St. and oversees an 8-member team assigned to the ING account. Mintz joined CBRE in October 2007 as the general manager at Waltham Woods, a Class A corporate center. Mintz holds over 20 years of experience in property and asset management, leasing, business development and marketing for office, industrial and retail properties. She previously served as a general manger for ING Clarion and WinnCompanies and was the director of marketing for Cushman & Wakefield. Laura is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College.
