Cassidy Turley FHO wins two Office Deal of the Year awards
According to Cassidy Turley FHO, it received two awards at this year's Commercial Brokers Association of Massachusetts Achievement Dinner.
Two leases for Biogen Idec were recognized as the Office Deal of the Year Cambridge, while a Brightcove lease in one of the city's first "green" skyscrapers won the Office Deal of the Year Boston.
Cassidy Turley FHO managing principal Joe Fallon and senior managing director, principal Ted Lyon represented the team in the Biogen Idec transactions. Senior managing directors, principals John Boyle and Will Foley joined Fallon and Lyon on the Brightcove team.

The winning Biogen Idec lease transactions in Cambridge totaled 502,660 s/f, 195,240 s/f at 17 Cambridge Center and 307,420 s/f at 225 Binney St. With the two new buildings, Biogen Idec increased its footprint in Cambridge. Boston Properties represented the landlord for 17 Cambridge Center, while Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. represented the landlord for 225 Binney St.
The Cassidy Turley FHO team was also recognized for Brightcove's relocation to 290 Congress St. Brightcove, a cloud content services leader, occupies two floors at 290 Congress Street totaling 82,184 s/f for 400 employees. The mixed-use development at 290 Congress St. includes a 31-story, class A office tower, 30,000 s/f of retail and public space, residential units and a waterfront plaza. As Boston's first "green" skyscraper, the building is pre-certified LEED Gold, and is ideally situated near in Boston's growing Innovation District. Boston Properties represented the landlord in the transaction.
The Cassidy Turley FHO team involved in the winning transactions has over 80 combined years of real estate experience in the Boston office market. Boyle, who has nearly 25 years of experience, won CBA's Broker of the Year Award at last year's ceremony.
Providence, RI Shawmut Design and Construction celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking for the 195 District Park Pavilion, marking the start of construction on a facility that will feature year-round dining and support space for park operations. In addition to the 3,500 s/f building, the project will include infrastructure upgrades
