Carvalho joins DJSA as assistant project manager

Raynham, MA DJSA Architecture PC has hired Shawn Carvalho as an assistant project manager.

In this role, his responsibilities include schematic programming, design development, and production of permit/construction bid documents. In addition, he coordinates architectural and engineer/consultant work including all production, project budgeting/expectations, and construction administration. He also acts as a mentor to junior staff members.

Carvalho brings 10 years of architectural design and project management experience to his post, most recently as job captain with Anderson Porter Design.

Carvalho earned a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering technology from the New England Institute of Technology and is presently pursuing project manager certification.

“It’s great to have Shawn on board as a member of our team,” said Dennis Swart, president of DJSA Architecture PC.  “His experience as both a project manager and architectural designer, coupled with outstanding client service and communication skills, are of great value.”
