Carpenter promoted to vice president at Columbia

North Reading, MA Columbia has promoted longtime team member Bill Carpenter to vice president | preconstruction & estimating. Carpenter, who began working at the construction management firm in 2005, will ensure meticulous planning and preparation for all Columbia projects.

“Anyone who has worked with Bill Carpenter knows that this promotion is exceptionally deserved,” said Columbia senior vice president Dave Stodden.

“Bill is a natural leader whose pro-fessionalism and collaborative approach have made him well-respected by designers, clients, coworkers, and trade partners.”

At Columbia, Carpenter has worked in a variety of preconstruction and estimating roles on high-profile projects in the life science, healthcare, corporate, academic, and hospitality sectors. He has been consistently recognized by colleagues and clients as both a strong leader and a col-laborative teammate.
