Callahan completes 112,231 s/f $28 million Residences at Wingate: owned by WIngate Healthcare, designed by The Architectural Team

Callahan, Inc. recently completed construction on the $28 million Residences at Wingate. Owned by Wingate Healthcare, the northeast's premier provider of healthcare and hospitality for seniors, the 112,231 s/f community features 91 units, and a 30,000 s/f below-grade parking garage. 82,030 s/f of living space is divided between three floors in the steel and wood framed building. The Residences at Wingate consists of one and two bedroom apartments and a specialized memory care wing. Callahan provided construction management services for the community. The architect was The Architectural Team. "The Residences at Wingate provide a unique combination of independent and assisted living options for seniors," said Mike Wetzel, project manager at Callahan. "The spaces and design encourage residents to interact, learn and relax in a stimulating and welcoming environment." Amenities include a fitness room, the Versailles spa, theatre, bistro, open concept dining room and kitchen, library, administrative offices, public gathering places, outdoor dining venues, gardens, exterior patios and courtyards. The Residences at Wingate are located down the street from Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
