Burgess Properties Inc. has brokered 28,750 s/f of industrial space at 18 Dorrance St.
Phillip Burgess and Steve Nohrden of Burgess represented the landlord, RAD Realty Corp. while Ellen Garthoff of The Stubblebine Co. procured the tenant, Alta Bicycle Share, Inc. Alta Bicycle is the parent company of Boston's new bicycle sharing system, The Hubway Network. Hubway was launched in Boston last year with 600 bicycles and 60 stations, and is currently working toward expansion throughout Boston, Cambridge, Brookline, and Somerville. The 28,750 s/f building, located on a one-acre lot next to Sullivan Sq., gives Hubway room to house, repair, import, and distribute their bicycles and bike stations.
