Bulso becomes Consigli Const.'s 20th LEED AP

Mary Bulso, project engineer, has earned the designation as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP), making her the twentieth member of Consigli Construction's project management department to do so. Consigli provides training to take the LEED exam to any interested employees, just one of the many programs offered through Consigli Construction University, and covers all expenses related to the exam.  Over the past few weeks, Consigli employees across a variety of positions, from M/E/P coordinators to project executives, have earned their LEED accreditation.   Matthew Consigli, vice president said,  "With twenty LEED AP's on staff, and more preparing to take the exam, our people clearly take to heart the value of training and the benefits it will bring to our environment."  LEED AP's are expected to have a thorough understanding of green building practices, and must posses the following knowledge: building industry knowledge and tenure in green building; familiarity with documentation process for LEED project; knowledge of LEED credit intents, requirements, submittals, technologies and strategies within your discipline; practical experience working with multiple design disciplines; understanding of life-cycle costs and benefits of LEED; familiarity with LEED resources and processes.
