Building and Land Technology launches new 402-unit residence

Leasing is underway for a new collection of upscale townhome and apartment residences at Harbor Point, Connecticut's waterfront district. A grand opening event took place on January 25. Named "Postmark Apartments," the towers are located on the site of the original headquarters of Stamford innovator Pitney Bowes Inc. The new buildings feature 402 rental residences situated in adjoining nine and twelve-story towers connected by an expansive outdoor pool and sundeck. The first tower will be Harbor Point's first smoke-free apartment building. Postmark Apartments is the latest addition to Harbor Point, a 322-acre waterfront peninsula just south of the Stamford Train Station and minutes from downtown that has been transformed into a transit-oriented, mixed-use community by Building and Land Technology. "Harbor Point has evolved into a premier residential and retail destination that's brimming with activity year-round," said Paul Macknight, residential portfolio director of the Stamford-based Building and Land Technology. "Featuring upscale residences in fully-amenitized buildings, eclectic shops and restaurants, more than 20 acres of parks, a mile-long waterfront boardwalk, world-class marinas and an exciting calendar of entertainment and events, Harbor Point offers an all-encompassing 24/7 lifestyle just 45 minutes from Manhattan that's simply unlike any other found in this area. Postmark Apartments is the sixth residential building and first 100% smoke-free environment introduced at Harbor Point, and we fully expect these residences to be as well received as our previous offerings."

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
