Brock of Nitsch Engineering to serve on USGBC Massachusetts board

Nitsch Engineering's chief engineer Sandra Brock, PE, CFM, LEED AP BD+C has been selected to serve on the United States Green Building Council Mass. Chapter (USGBC MA) board of directors. Brock is the sole engineering representative on the 19-person board. Brock has over 23 years of experience in the civil engineering field, including 14 years at Nitsch Engineering. Brock is well known for her expertise in the sustainable site design field, having worked on green projects such as the Stata Center at MIT in Cambridge; the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham; the new Science Center at Stonehill College in North Easton; and the Campus Framework Plan for Princeton University. Brock has presented at numerous conferences and industry events on sustainable site design and stormwater best management practices; she has also been an instructor for the "Site Engineering" Course at the Landscape Institute at Boston Architectural College. She currently serves on the Grafton Conservation Commission.
