Bristol County Savings Bank will host "PawSox Photo Baseball Night" on May 28th

Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB) will host "PawSox Photo Baseball Night" on May 28th at a 6:05 p.m. game between the Pawtucket Red Sox and the Indianapolis Indians at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. The first 3,000 young fans (age 14 and under) entering the stadium will receive a baseball courtesy of the Bank and WEEI-FM. The vibrant red ball features the PawSox logo and a photo montage of top prospects Daniel Nava, Yamaico Navarro, Ryan Kalish, Josh Reddick and Lars Anderson. PawSox Photo Baseball Night is part of the bank's 10th anniversary celebration of the opening of its Pawtucket banking office on 215 Armistice Blvrd. "We're very proud of our partnership with the Pawtucket Red Sox over the past decade so we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Pawtucket branch than by hosting PawSox Photo Baseball Night," said Dennis Kelly, president and CEO of BCSB. Kelly added that the bank is also sponsoring Clay Buchholz Bobblehead Doll Night at a Pawtucket Red Sox game on July 30th. The establishment of the Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation - Pawtucket Advisory Board was announced at the grand opening of the Bank's Pawtucket office in 2001 in an effort to demonstrate the Bank's commitment to its new market. At that time, $1 million was contributed to the Foundation to provide grants to 501C (3) organizations which operate exclusively for charitable purposes within the City of Pawtucket. Its purpose is to fund needs that contribute to the economic and the social well-being of the people and institutions located in greater Attleboro/Taunton and greater Dartmouth, MA, as well as Pawtucket. Since the Foundation began, more than $6.7 million in grants to 501©(3) organizations have been awarded. In 2010, the Foundation awarded a record high of just under $1 million to 157 different organizations.
