Bridges by EPOCH breaks ground on 64-unit memory care community

Norwalk, CT EPOCH Senior Living, a regional provider of senior housing and care since 1997, in partnership with National Development, a real estate and investment firm with senior housing expertise, broke ground on Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk on Oct. 26.  The future home of the memory care assisted living community will be located at 123 Richards Ave. 

Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk is slated to open in the fall of 2017. The community will include 64 memory care suites and is designed for individuals living with all stages of memory impairment. It will include personalized care founded on the latest research to promote activity, engagement and fulfillment among residents. 

EPOCH Senior Living’s president and chief executive officer Laurence Gerber, National Development’s vice president Michael Glynn and mayor Harry Rilling delivered brief remarks at the groundbreaking event.

Exterior and interior design is being done by CBT of Boston. The general contractor is CE Floyd of CT and Mass.
