Boylston Properties and Stonebridge Companies to open Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Watertown

Watertown, MA According to Boylston Properties and Stonebridge Companies, the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton is scheduled to open at the end of December in Arsenal Yards. The hotel will be a welcomed addition to the limited hotel options that currently exist in the area, which is a growing destination for Boston/Cambridge leisure travel, business travel within the exploding biotechnology industry, and patients and staff of the well-established medical community in Boston, to name a few. The property will operate as a Hilton franchise, owned by a joint venture of Boylston and Stonebridge, and managed by Stonebridge.

In an ideal location directly on Arsenal St., the hotel serves as a gateway to historical attractions and new and upcoming venues. Arsenal Yards is Greater Boston’s next great neighborhood, offering more than one million s/f of shops and restaurants, 300 residential apartments, life science companies, a Roche Bros. grocery store, Majestic 7 movie theater, fitness studios, and enhanced outdoor and green spaces for social gatherings, when all construction is complete in fall 2021.

“We couldn’t be prouder to introduce this special Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton product alongside our valued partners at Stonebridge Companies,” said Bill McQuillan, principal at Boylston Properties. “Four years ago, our Boylston Properties team successfully built the Residence Inn by Marriott Watertown across the street and our confidence in the Watertown market has grown exponentially, especially as our vision for Arsenal Yards gets closer and closer to fully developed. Watertown is a hot, new destination in Greater Boston – for local and national visitors, for biotech and business travelers, and beyond -- and we are very excited to add a beautiful new hotel to the neighborhood.”

Spacious hotel rooms and prime amenity spaces on the second floor of the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Watertown Boston allow for total relaxation while creating memories to last a lifetime at Arsenal Yards. Airy rooms were designed to maximize productivity and the hotel will be comprised of both standard and studio suites, one king and double-queen bedded rooms as well as premium rooms with balcony access and a handful of connecting rooms.

Two substantial function rooms center the hotel and can be combined to offer nearly 1,700 square feet of luxurious and innovative event space. A more intimate boardroom is situated on the second floor and a central indoor/outdoor fireplace with outdoor terrace and soft seating offers guests the ability to relax and explore the truly unique artwork program presented throughout the hotel. This hotel will offer complimentary breakfast and high-speed wireless internet access as well as an on-site fitness facility. Covered, self-parking will also be available.

The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Watertown Boston is nine miles from Boston’s Logan International Airport and offers its guests convenient access to downtown Boston, TD Garden, Fenway Park, Harvard Square, Kendall Sq., Allston/Brighton, and Alewife. The hotel is also in close proximity to Harvard University, MIT, Boston University and Boston College. On the banks of the Charles River, Arsenal Yards is incredibly convenient to get to, as it’s minutes to the Mass Pike, near public transportation, situated amongst an extensive network of bike paths, and home to one of seven new Bluebikes stations in Watertown.
