Providence, RI BOND, one of the Northeast’s premier full-service construction management and general contracting companies, is expanding to the state of Rhode Island with the opening of a new Providence location. The company celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house attended by Providence mayor Jorge Elorza, along with BOND clients, business partners, colleagues and employees. The new office is located at One Cedar St., Suite 100.

Leading the office is Dan Ramos, regional manager. In his new role, Ramos is responsible for expanding BOND’s geographical presence throughout R.I., Southeastern Mass. and Eastern Conn.  He works with a new office leadership team including James “Bo” Koloski, director of client services and Kim Silvestri, project executive.  Koloski leads the business development effort for Rhode Island, while Silvestri is focused on leading BOND’s healthcare projects.

“I want to congratulate BOND on their new location and welcome them to the historic Federal Hill neighborhood,” said mayor Elorza.

“BOND’s decision to come to Providence is a positive indication of the type of growth I wish to promote for our great city. We look forward to seeing BOND play a valuable role in the Providence community.”

Over the years BOND has completed several Rhode Island projects such as Roger Williams University’s North Campus Residence Hall, Brown University’s Infrastructure Expansion and Bryant University’s Salmanson Dining Hall. Current work in progress includes Bryant University’s Academic Innovation Center, Bristol Community College’s New Technology and Learning Center and UMass Dartmouth’s School for Marine and Science Technology. BOND’s Providence office will focus on the academic and healthcare sectors initially, with plans to offer services and capabilities across all of BOND’s market sectors.

“We are excited and proud to have a new home base in Providence,” said Robert Murray, BOND president, “We’ve established many successful client relationships and business partnerships throughout Rhode Island. This new location will allow us to provide the most reliable services to our clients and expand our offerings throughout the Northeast.”

Since 1907, BOND has managed many of New England’s most complex construction projects. BOND operates as a construction manager for academic and healthcare clients and a self-performing general contractor for the power and energy industry. BOND is well-known for delivering reliable, safe, and high-quality work. The Building Division has completed high-profile projects for clients such as Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Boston University, Bryant University, Brown University, Harvard University, MIT and Roger Williams University. The Civil & Utility Division has successfully completed the Hoosac Wind Project for Iberdrola Renewables, the West Roxbury-Newton Cooling Line for Northeast Utilities, and the Needham Regulator Station for Spectra Energy.
