Bolotin of Colebrook Realty Services brokers 15,000 s/f lease expansion
Colebrook Realty Services, Inc. has brokered the lease expansion of tenant Hampden County Physician Associates, LLC at 354 Birnie Ave. Hampden County Physician Associates (HCPA) extended occupancy from 4,400 s/f to more than 15,000 s/f for a term of 5 years. Colebrook principal Mitch Bolotin represented property owner Klondike Investment Group, Inc. The building remains at full occupancy.
HCPA, an independent, multispecialty network of dedicated healthcare professionals, has housed its administrative headquarters at 354 Birnie Ave. since August 2000. The need for a larger space is related to management team growth and anticipated expansion in directions HCPA believes will better serve the community. Said Al Ogoley, director of facilities for HCPA, "The site at 354 Birnie Ave. is ideally located to service our 16 primary care practice, ancillary delivery and case management locations throughout western Mass. and beyond. It is also beneficial to our strong teams of hospital-based physicians on both the Baystate Medical Center and Mercy Medical Center campuses. We are happy to extend our stay in what has become the hub of outpatient medical services in the Springfield area."
In addition to HCPA, the property's other occupant is Baystate Medical Center, Inc. "Filling the building with health care tenants is a logical strategy for Klondike Investment Group. Such entities provide important services to community members as well as stability to the North End marketplace," said Colebrook president John Dill, CRE, FRICS.

While it’s impossible to prevent disasters and power outages entirely, proactive preparation can significantly minimize their impact on your commercial building.
