Beverly Animal Natural Health signs 2,100 s/f at Cummings Center

Beverly, MA Beverly Animal Natural Health Center (BANHC) has relocated from Cabot St. to 950 Cummings Center, Suite 99X. At 2,100 s/f, the new location provides pets and their families with a larger and more modern space for services.

BANHC was founded in 1998 to offer a holistic approach to animal care that focuses on wellness and is led by Dr. Nancy Crowley and Dr. Lynne Ricketts.

Dr. Crowley reached out to Cummings Properties in the spring after determining that the practice was outgrowing its current space.

“I knew from the moment I met with them that great things could happen,” said Dr. Crowley. “It’s pretty neat that Cummings Center is named after its founder, Bill Cummings. Tufts University – where I graduated 25 years ago – is now named Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine due to his and his wife’s incredible generosity. It’s full circle for me, as I am so proud of the education I received there.”

Cummings’ in-house construction and design team built out a new facility featuring an additional examination room, a larger updated surgical suite, and a treatment area twice the size as BANHC’s previous location.

“In addition to helping Drs. Crowley and Ricketts see and care for their patients more efficiently, pet owners will find the new location to be convenient to other pet-related services,” said Cummings Properties associate leasing officer Aaron Smith.

“BANHC is a wonderful new amenity to the ‘live, work, play’ lifestyle at Cummings Center.”

In locating at Cummings Center, BANHC joins other pet-focused businesses – such as the dog daycare and training service Four Leggers, pet supply retailer PetEdge, and pet-focused law practice Boston Dog Lawyers – as well as the pet-friendly luxury condominium residence Elliott Landing.

Cummings Properties’ portfolio of more than 11 million square feet of prime space accommodates offices, healthcare facilities, labs, restaurants, retail storefronts, warehouses, co-working spaces, executive suites, and more. With a portfolio of this size and variety, the firm can meet almost any commercial real estate need from 150 square feet to 300,000 square feet. Its in-house experts in design, construction, and property management offer “one-stop shopping” for leasing clients.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
