Bergin of Pearce Real Estate represents Coating Design Group in $1.95 million building purchase

Stratford, CT According to Barbara Pearce, CEO and president of Pearce Real Estate, John Bergin, Pearce senior commercial specialist in the company’s Milford commercial office, represented the buyer, Coating Design Group, in the $1.95 million sale of a building at 430 Sniffens Lane.

The 35,488 s/f building, formerly occupied by Advanced Graphics, overlooks the Housatonic River.

The seller, The Putney Associates of New York, was represented by David Gorbach of Colonial Realty of Fairfield.

“John Bergin’s successful sale of this building to his client. Coating Design Group, allows them the room and space to expand their operation,” said Pearce. “Because of his efforts, CDG will increase its production staff and accommodate its anticipated future growth – two vital elements in strengthening the economic health of the region and of the State of Connecticut.”

Coating Design group, founded in 1988, has gained worldwide status with its innovative process and unparalleled quality. The company formerly occupied 16,000 s/f in two buildings in Milford. Coating Design Group produces a water-based coating which has scratch, fog, static and non-glare resistance to glass and plastic parts primarily in the aerospace, automotive, defense, electronic, marine, medical and securities industries.
