Belcher of HRP on reaching the rank of project manager

Name: Zoe Belcher Title: Project Manager Company/firm: HRP Associates, Inc. Years with company/firm: 13 Years in field: 13 Years in real estate industry: 13 Address: 197 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington, CT 06032 Telephone: 860-674-9570 Email: zoe.belcher@hrpassociates.com URL: www.hrpassociates.com Real estate organizations/affiliations: CREW-CT/Real Estate Exchange During the last 10 years of your career, which professional accomplishment, honor or achievement has meant the most to you and why? Reaching the rank of project manager has meant the most to me. My goal coming out of college was to manage projects one day. It was personally rewarding when all of my hard work in school and at HRP finally paid off. No matter what my future holds I will always be able to say I attained my goal! Which project, deal or transaction was the "game changer" in the advancement of your career during the last 10 years? Of my completed projects, I would have to say that the Seasons Of Hartford project was my most rewarding. We investigated and remediated a vacant site in Hartford to facilitate the construction of a senior housing facility. The construction of this building led to lower crime in the area, creation of jobs in Hartford, additional affordable housing for the elderly, and an overall improvement to the community. It's not often that I get to work on a project that has such a significant impact on a community. It was rewarding.
